A seminar in the Department of Biomedical Engineering titled “Mathematics in Medicine: From Equations to Life–Saving Applications.”
As part of the college’s objectives and its efforts to support students in developing scientific research skills and linking theoretical sciences with real-world medical applications, the Department of Biomedical Engineering held a discussion seminar prepared by first-year students, with the participation of the department’s head, faculty members, and students. The seminar was titled:
“Mathematics in Medicine: From Equations to Life–Saving Applications”
This seminar explores the vital relationship between mathematics and medicine, highlighting how mathematical principles are used to interpret and diagnose medical conditions and how mathematics can contribute to improving human quality of life.
