Congratulations on the occasion of one of the staff members of the Department of Medical instrumentation Engineering techniques receiving their Master’s degree.

We congratulate and extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Mina Allah Sami Al-Khafaji for earning her Master’s degree in Engineering – Medical Devices Technology from the Islamic University in Lebanon.

Her thesis, titled “Development and Implementation of an Artificial Intelligence System for Diagnosis of Lung Cancer Using CT Images”, was discussed and successfully defended.

The thesis aims to enhance the radiological diagnosis of cancerous formations in the lungs by developing an intelligent automated diagnostic system, helping doctors and specialists in the early detection of cancerous lesions.

The thesis was accepted with Excellence.
